BRAD GALLOP

Brad has over 30 years’ experience with military operations, training and capability, and as a serving officer of the New Zealand Army. During his regular force service, Brad has gained a wide variety of skills and experience, particularly with national security apparatus and associated security and force protection systems. This includes operational and policy support for both domestic and international operations, workforce development, governance, risk management, and financial management. Brad is skilled in strategic and operational planning and coordination, training, crisis management, capability and through life management.

Brad brings to SSCL strong conceptual and analytical skills, superior personal and time management ability and leadership skills. He was an active member of the senior management team and contributed to the development of branch relationships with service providers and other agencies through influence and networking. Brad is a highly successful manager of operations, support, assurance and financial requirements, and is able to provide strategic advice and support to ensure effective development of initiatives and outputs in line with policy and legislation.

Brad has a Masters of International Security, a Bachelor of Business Studies, and is a Graduate of the New Zealand Defence Command and Staff College.
