MARK DUNLOP

Mark is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors and a Fellow of Leadership New Zealand. He assists organisations with significant business growth, realising opportunities in Government supply chain, strategic procurement and effective execution of strategy, both as a client and suppler. He is a strong facilitator and highly skilled in discovering and implementing business improvement. He is a sought-after coach at senior management and executive levels, providing strategic and personal insight challenges.

Mark has led the majority of recent establishment review projects on behalf of SSCL, drawing on his leadership and senior executive HR experience. He is accredited expert (2016) in the IACCM Supplier Relationship Management and provides training in this discipline. He is a key member of the SSCL training design, development and delivery team, and lead facilitator on the ILS, FMS, Contract Management and Supply Chain training practice. He has worked with both RNZAF and RNZN supply trade teams in building capacity. Mark is experienced in the application of systems thinking approaches, and organisation design, being accredited and experienced in applying the work of Elliott Jacques (Requisite Organisation) at all levels of organisations to drive organisational alignment and engagement.

Historically, Mark was the project manager in establishing the NZDF contract with Yakka Apparel (now the Workwear Group). His experience also includes Strategy and Change lead with both PWC and IBM.

With an MSc (first class Honours) and a postgraduate diploma in Business and Industrial Administration, Mark has also studied performance management at INSEAD Business School in Paris (2008) and completed the Leadership New Zealand programme (2009).
