As a core member of the SSCL team since 2006, Omid brings more than 20 years of experience, the last ten of which have involved delivering procurement and process improvements to a number of Government agencies and corporations. This experience is further enhanced by his six years within the RNZAF where he provided logistics support, maintenance planning and aircraft engineering analysis.
Omid, therefore, has an in-depth understanding of the NZDF operational requirements, procedures and systems. This understanding and expertise enable him to successfully undertake all the requirements of NZDF logistics analysis to achieve optimal outcomes throughout the life of an asset. In particular, he is able to deliver solutions which unlock savings while improving or maintaining operational capability.
Omid’s expertise lies in the ability to undertake analysis of complex businesses, identifying Total Cost of Ownership and designing leaner operating models. He is experienced in project and change management, continuous improvement, engineering/technical management, working with all levels of internal and external stakeholders, business analysis, management/technical consulting, contractor and client management, and policy development. Omid is a certified Prince2 practitioner.
