With nearly 50 years of experience in the aviation industry, Phil is uniquely placed to provide guidance and advice on a wide range of disciplines. As an aviation engineer, Phil’s successes in the management of sophisticated and high-value aviation assets quickly developed to fleet-wide responsibilities, most recently for Cathay Pacific and Air New Zealand.

Phil’s experience has been invaluable in the negotiation of strategic support contracts within Air New Zealand and more recently for Strategic Sourcing’s key clients. He has a keen eye for opportunities to simplify end-to-end processes, thereby reducing costs and improving productivity.

Phil has been a part of the SSCL team for over 12 years, leading clients through the process mapping stages of projects. Phil’s engineering and aviation background enables him to understand and simplify what are often seen as impossible to understand operating environments.
